Help YWCA Deliver Gifts & Smiles For The Holidays

Most of us look forward to the holidays…
but when women and families experience homelessness or housing insecurity, there are few means to buy gifts.

You can make sure everyone served by YWCA experiences the joys of celebrating the holidays by taking part in our Adopt-A-Family program.

YWCA’s Adopt-A-Family program kicks off November 1.

Here’s how it works:

We ask the women and families we serve to send us their wish lists. These lists are uploaded online, so that a caring person like yourself, can “adopt” them by filling their wish list, which may include age-appropriate toys, clothing, gift cards, and other desired items.

You can choose to buy for an individual, a family or multiple families – it’s entirely up to you.

We also include gift-wrapping materials when we deliver your gift(s) to the child’s family so parents can see what is sent and have the pleasure of wrapping the holiday presents. We welcome donations of gift wrap, tape, bows and holiday candy.

If you prefer that we do the shopping for you, we gratefully accept cash contributions designated for our Adopt-A-Family program.

Consider donating the gift of time! 

We are looking for volunteers to help accept and sort donations for our annual Adopt-A-Family program. As a volunteer, you would be greeting donors, helping to unload their cards, and sorting gifts to be delivered to the women and families served by YWCA.

Gift Drop-Offs

Once you’ve adopted your family, drop off your gifts between November 1-December 10 at the following location:

Mondays: 9am-3pm
Tuesdays: 9am-7pm
Wednesdays: 9am-3pm
Thursdays: 9am-3pm
Fridays: 9am-3pm

Saturday, December 9: 12pm-3:30pm
Sunday, December 10: 12pm-3:30pm
