Partnering Together

We host several events to raise awareness about issues facing the women we serve, seek input from our collaborative partners and community leaders, recognize the efforts of our volunteers and contributors, and help celebrate the mission and programs of the YWCA.  Examples of these events include Breakfasts with the CEO and the Stand Against Racism. 

The YWCA also hosts hundreds of workshops, recreational activities, and holiday celebrations for the more than one thousand women and children we serve each year.  To learn more about how you can get involved, click here.

Our thanks to Moonlight Creamery in Fairport for hosting a special benefit for the YWCA on Saturday February 4th in honor of International Ice Cream for Breakfast Day.  The YWCA's own Volunteer Coordinator Ruth Kramer, who inspired the event as a child, was on hand to help make tasty treats for those who stopped in.  YWCA President & CEO Jean Carroll also attended, sampling some of the fun, breakfast-inspired ice cream flavors.
