Developing Strengths, Setting Goals
The YWCA offers weekly youth development workshops and community service learning opportunities to teens at city high schools and at Avenue D Community Center. Caring adults provide a safe and nurturing environment that helps teens acquire valuable life skills, learn how to avoid risky behaviors and boost school achievement.
Community service projects help teens develop leadership skills and make a difference in the lives of others
Recreational and social activities are also offered throughout the year
